ESIC UDC Computer Skill Test: Word, Excel & PowerPoint Guide

The ESIC Upper Division Clerk (UDC) selection ends with a Computer Skill Test that is qualifying in nature. Unlike a pure typing test, it is a practical assessment across three Microsoft Office applications.
What the ESIC UDC skill test covers
The test typically has three components:
PowerPoint — preparation of a set of slides on a given topic.
MS Word — typing and formatting a passage (alignment, fonts, tables, styles).
MS Excel — entering data and applying formulas, functions and tables.
Even though it is not a speed test, your typing speed directly affects whether you finish the Word and PowerPoint tasks in time. A comfortable 35 WPM gives you breathing room for the formatting work.
